Full Member, Stage Directors and Choreographers Union (SDC)

Areas of Specialization

I specialize in creating narrative, evocative movement material, both traditional “dances” as well as atmospheric movement landscapes that attempt to illuminate the play’s narrative, tension, and relationships. As a Dance-Theatre choreographer, I work in multiple genres of dance, from period movement, to punk, to Contemporary and Avante-garde forms, to magical realism, and character analysis through movement. I use spatial relationships, body posture, dynamic shifts, and rhythmic patterns to create meaning.
